Lucky fish take a walk - 15th July 2022 View All
This man is Jerry Huang from Taiwan. Mr Huang makes useful things. He made this special fish tank. Other pets, like dogs and cats, can go outside with their owners. He wanted fish to go out too.
Jerry Huang: "As a creator and inventor, I feel many things are possible. We all have this urge to explore other uninhabitable exotic worlds. That's why we send spaceships to the universe. If I were a goldfish, I would definitely be super thrilled if someone invented something for me to go and explore other worlds."
Huang planned how to let fish see the world. He read about fish for weeks. Finally, he built this special fish tank. He found things to use around him.
Jerry Huang: "I did a lot of research before I started making this fish tank. It's not a spur of the moment thing. You need to understand the fish. There's a reason why I chose goldfish."
Huang needed strong fish. So he chose goldfish. Then he started making the fish tank. It cost about $400 to make. The fish can see out of the big plastic tank.
Outside, people can't stop looking at Huang and his fish. He hopes children will learn from it.
Jerry Huang: "I was thinking not only will this be a novel way to attract people's attention, but the children will also learn a few things about aquariums."
Adults and children are interested in Huang's new tank. And the fish are having a good time too.
Lily Lee: "I have never seen this before. It's novel and strange and quite creative!"
The animals can now see different parts of the world. They're very lucky fish! View Less
