Prince William's wedding anniversary - 10th May 2021
Prince William, Queen Elizabeth II's grandson, is celebrating ten years of marriage to Kate Middleton. The couple got married in 2011. They became Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.
Photographs of William and Kate were taken to celebrate their anniversary. The Duke and Duchess are smiling in the photos. The pictures were shared on social media. They appeared on the royal family's social media with the message: "Wishing the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge a very happy wedding anniversary."
William and Kate went to the same university. After an eight year relationship, they got married at Westminster Abbey in London. Since then, they have had three children.
William and Kate often work with charities. They usually travel the world. But during the coronavirus pandemic, they had to stay at home. They still wanted to help people. So they baked cakes for local elderly people. They made video calls to schools. And they visited health workers. They also started working with charities which help Britain's National Health Service.
William's grandfather Prince Philip, the Queen's husband, passed away in April this year. William said Prince Philip served his country well. William hopes to be like his grandfather.
