Teenager flies around world - 3rd October 2022
Teenager Mack Rutherford just flew around the world. It took him five months. He was alone in a little plane. He flew over 52 countries. And he's only 17 years old.
His plane's very light. It can travel up to 300 kilometres an hour.
Mack stopped in different countries on the way. He flew for 11 hours every day. He saw lots of famous places from the sky. It made his journey interesting.
One night he was very afraid. The weather was bad. Mack had to land his plane on an island. There were empty buildings, but no people.
Now back home, Mack has two Guinness world records. He comes from a family of pilots. His older sister, Zara, flew around the world a few months ago. She became the youngest woman to do this.
Mack doesn't think age should stop people. "Follow your dreams," he said.
