Strong winds carried the cocoa nibs to the surrounding town, where it fell like snow. There was no need for worry because cocoa nibs are harmless. The chocolate powder covered one car.
The company has promised to pay for any cleaning needed. So far, no one has asked for any money.
Lindt & Spruengli has now repaired the ventilation system. Chocolate production is continuing as normal.
