Gold plated hotel - 8th July 2020 View All
A gold plated hotel has opened in Hanoi, the capital city of Vietnam. It claims to be the only gold plated hotel in the world.
Everything from the sparkling hallways to the lift doors, down to the smallest coffee cup and spoon are plated in 24 carat gold.
The elegant bathrooms have golden toilets, bidets, baths and taps.
While enjoying your luxury stay, you could try out the hotel's rooftop infinity pool. It is of course gold plated, as are the showers.
Prices start at 250 dollars per night. Nguyen Huu Duong, owner of the hotel, says they want it to be for everyone from ordinary people to the super rich.
Phillip Park from South Korea is one of the first to stay in the hotel.
Park: "When I come to here, I feel like I am a king, you know, the Pharaoh, the king of Egypt.” View Less
