Chadwick Boseman was an actor. He was in the superhero movie "Black Panther". He died from cancer.
People were surprised. They didn't know Boseman was ill. He never talked about his illness. His cancer didn't stop him working. He continued acting.
Boseman was in lots of films. He played a baseball star in "42". He played singer James Brown in "Get On Up". But he is famous for "Black Panther".
Boseman thought "Black Panther" was important. All the actors in it were black. He said it changed the movie business.
Boseman: "You can see, in the industry, that people are starting to want to put their dollars, put their money where their mouth is, behind films where we are the leads, or we are the directors and producers and what not.
