These black shapes are 40 million old car tyres. These rubber wheels are in the desert in Kuwait. There were two big fires here.
Now, the area is going to be a city. But first, they need to move the tyres.
Director Sheikh Abdullah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah wants to recycle everything.
Sheikh Abdullah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah: "We will not allow any tyres to be buried in the future. They will all get recycled and we will do what is necessary to put all waste in the country on the road map for recycling in the Salmiya area."
44,000 trucks took the tyres away. They are now in a new store. This is safer. It will stop fires.
A recycling company will recycle some of the tyres. They make old tyres into running tracks. They make them into playgrounds too.
Alaa Hassan is the company director.
