Hearts for Covid - 26th April 2021
A group of people are painting red hearts on a big wall in London. Thousands of people died from Covid-19 in the UK. Their families and friends don’t want to forget them. The hearts are for these dead people.
First, the group of people cleaned the wall. Then they painted the hearts on the wall. There are thousands of hearts. There is one heart for each dead person. Each heart is different. The hearts show love for the dead people.
The wall of hearts is over one kilometre long. It is in the centre of London. The wall is next to the River Thames.
A lot of people will visit the wall. The visitors will think about the pandemic. They will remember the dead people.
