Gates wants vaccines not rockets - 6th March 2023
Bill Gates prefers spending his money on vaccines than travelling to Mars. This is different from Elon Musk and some other billionaires, who are more interested in space travel.
Gates said that vaccines can save lives. They’re also cheaper than expensive trips to Mars. Gates has given billions of dollars to solutions for world health problems. And he’s helping to find ways to limit the climate crisis.
The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation is Gates’s own charity. It’s worked to solve global problems for over 20 years. And when Covid-19 arrived, it gave a lot of money to help. The foundation spent billions of dollars on vaccine research.
But for some people, Gates' personal actions don’t match with his gifts to charity. Environmentalists are upset with him. He often travels by private jet, which is bad for the environment. But Gates says that he uses his private jet for charity work.
In a recent interview, Gates was asked about his divorce. The interviewer wanted to know if Gates would fall in love again. He answered, "Sure, I'm not a robot."
