Women break Grammys records - 22nd March 2021
Every year, the Grammys gives prizes for the best music of the year. There is a big show with live music. Musicians receive awards for songs, albums and performances.
This year, singers Beyoncé and Taylor Swift became record breakers at the Grammys.
Beyoncé was given the Grammy for Best R&B Performance. Beyoncé has now won 28 Grammy awards. This is more than any other woman.
"I'm so excited," she told the audience.
Taylor Swift's album 'Folklore' received the Album of The Year award. This is the third time Swift has won Album of the Year. Only three other musicians have won this prize three times. But they were all men. Swift is the first woman.
Beyoncé's 28th Grammy was for her song 'Black Parade'. The song is about Black culture and Black history. When she collected her award, Beyoncé spoke about her song. She said she wanted to "celebrate all of the beautiful Black queens and kings."
