Japan has a bad economy. Women can solve this problem. Many Japanese women study at university. It is difficult for them to get the best jobs. Most managers are men.
Japan created ‘Womenomics’. It was a plan. It tried to give more good jobs to women. But, the plan failed. Women have less than 15 percent of the most important jobs in business.
Many Japanese women stop working after they have children. The 'Womenomics' plan helped women go back to work. 70 percent of women aged 15-44 go to work.
The government provided more childcare. The government wanted companies to have more women managers. Many companies didn’t do this.
Japan has a special way to employ people. When someone gets a job, they keep it forever. Young workers have a low position. Older people have the high positions.
