Valentine’s Day ends badly for Styles - 2nd March 2020

Former One Direction superstar Harry Styles was reportedly robbed at knifepoint on Valentine’s Day following an evening out with friends.

The 26 year old ‘Sign Of The Times’ hitmaker was out in Hampstead, North London, when he was confronted and threatened by a man who pulled a knife on him. The attacker demanded cash from the singer and Styles quickly complied. He managed to escape unscathed as he remained calm and handed over the cash.

Following the incident, Styles refused to be intimidated and attended the 40th annual Brit Awards a few days later. With him that evening was his bodyguard, who he shares with Mick Jagger, for some A-lister level protection.

Ahead of the event, the Metropolitan Police (the ‘Met’) confirmed that they were investigating a knifepoint robbery in Hampstead after receiving information about the incident on 15th February. No arrests have been made and the investigation is still continuing.

During an appearance last Wednesday on US morning show, ‘Today’, Styles addressed the ordeal for the first time. He insisted he was ‘okay’, but was left ‘shaken’ over the scary incident.

Unfortunately, Styles has had to deal with similarly unsettling situations in the past. Last year, homeless Pablo Tarazaga-Orero was banned from going within 250 metres of the star after he was convicted of stalking, having spent months camped outside his house.
