Harry Styles robbed in London - 2nd March 2020
World famous singer Harry Styles was in One Direction. On Valentine’s Day, he was robbed in the street by a man with a knife. Harry had been out with friends.
The 26 year old pop star was in Hampstead, North London when the robbery happened. The thief came up to Styles with a knife. He demanded money and Styles sensibly gave the man his cash. Harry stayed calm and avoided any injuries.
Styles attended this year’s Brit Awards a few days later. He wanted to show that the event hadn’t affected his confidence. He had a bodyguard with him who also works for Mick Jagger.
Before the awards show, the police provided information about the crime. They are searching for a thief after a robbery with a knife. The event happened in Hampstead. They haven’t arrested anyone so far. Their search continues.
Last Wednesday, Styles appeared on the US morning TV show, ‘Today’. He spoke about the incident for the first time. He said he was OK, but that it had been scary.
Styles has experienced scary situations before. Last year, a homeless man spent months following him and standing outside his house. The man now has to stay at least 250 metres away from Styles.
