Teacher brings school to students - 26th June 2020

Wilfredo Negrete travels by bike to teach his isolated students scattered across the Bolivian countryside.

Due to the global pandemic, school closures mean that many children without technology are left with no means of studying and their uneducated parents are left helpless.

The devoted teacher sets off 3 times a week with his whiteboard on his back to teach those most in need.

Alongside these trips, Negrete voluntarily provides classes from his home. He is careful to assign separate desks for students and everyone cleans their hands with alcohol gel when they arrive.

Grateful parents walk kilometres to ensure their children can receive the education they so desperately need.
