Obama says UFOs are real - 31st May 2021

Conversations about UFOs are not often in the news. We usually think unidentified flying objects are alien spaceships. Most people didn’t use to believe in UFOs. But now more people are talking about them.

Barack Obama was asked about UFOs on a US talk show. He surprised viewers by sharing information about them. He told the interviewer that the government collects film and reports of UFOs.

People used to think UFOs weren’t real. But now even celebrities are saying they’ve seen them. NBA star Shaquille O’Neil says he’s seen one. The subject has become a topic for national news programmes. One expert thinks they are a “national security issue”.

‘60 Minutes’, a US news programme, started the new conversation about UFOs. The government had said that UFOs were real. So the programme interviewed US pilots who had seen them. One pilot had seen unusual flying objects every day.

In his interview, Barack Obama agreed with the pilots. He said there were flying objects that they couldn’t explain. He said that the government “can’t explain how they move”.

US Congress will soon receive an official report about UFOs. The US government has written this report. The Pentagon has also shared three videos of UFOs.
