Some workers found a baby mammoth in Canada. A woolly mammoth looks like an elephant. This very old animal was frozen in the ice. Scientists think the baby mammoth is 30,000 years old.

Workers were digging up the ground. They found the baby mammoth in the frozen ground.

Local people gave the baby woolly mammoth a name. Its name is 'Nun cho ga'. It means 'big baby animal' in the local Han language.
