People were still counting lots of votes.
Trump’s lawyers tried to stop people counting votes.
Mr Biden said this was wrong.
He said only the people choose the winner.
Biden has won the most votes ever.
But in the USA, winning isn’t that simple.
The winner in each US state gets all the votes from that state.
Sometimes, this changes the election result.
