Hundreds of people gathered outside the United States Supreme Court at the weekend to pay their respects to Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg.
Ginsburg passed away from cancer on Friday at the age of 87.
Ginsburg was only the second female judge to sit on the Supreme Court and served for just under 30 years.
She was famous for fighting for people's rights.
During her time as a Supreme Court judge, she fought tirelessly for the rights of women, the LGBTQ community and immigrants.
Ginsburg also had to fight to become a lawyer herself.
Her legal battles to bring about equality for women in the 1970s were made into the film "On The Basis Of Sex".
Ginsburg's death leaves an empty seat in the Supreme Court.
There is now great concern amongst liberals about her replacement.
The decision will impact legal policy and law making in the States for many years.
