Facebook is a social media website. Lots of people use Facebook. They share information on Facebook. They share news stories.

Facebook makes a lot of money. But it doesn't pay for the news on its website.

In Australia, the government is unhappy about this. It wants to change this situation. Australian news companies should get money for their news.

The government will make new rules. The rules will make Facebook pay for news. But Facebook doesn't want to pay.

Facebook changed its website. People couldn't see Australian news on Facebook.

Lots of Australians were angry about this. They get important information on Facebook. They share news about the coronavirus on Facebook. They wanted Facebook to change its decision.

After a week, Facebook changed its decision. Now, it will pay for news.
