Hungry monkeys in Thailand - 13th July 2020

Monkeys attack people in Lopburi, Thailand.

The old city has many monkeys. The monkeys attract tourists. The tourists buy bananas. They give the bananas to the monkeys. They also take photos with them.

Now, there aren’t any tourists in the city. The monkeys are hungry and they want food.

Some people are giving fast food to the monkeys. They want to stop the attacks. The sugar and fat may make the monkeys dangerous.

The monkeys walk in the streets and break cars. They live in a cinema and smell very bad. They have many babies and the population is very big now.

Vets catch the monkeys. They do an operation. Then the monkeys can’t have babies. They want to build a monkey park. But many people don’t want the monkeys in the city.
