Marcus Rashford is a famous footballer. He wants the UK government to help children. Now, poor children will get food this summer.

In the UK, lots of children get free food. They usually get the food at school. But coronavirus closed the schools. Now, children get vouchers for food. They use the vouchers at supermarkets.

The government wants to stop the free food in summer. But Marcus Rashford has a different idea.

Marcus Rashford plays for Manchester United. He was a child in Manchester. His family was poor. He got free food. This helped him become a footballer.

Rashford says no child should be hungry. He wants the government to continue the free food.

Rashford wrote a letter to the government. Then the government changed its plan. Now children will have food this summer.

Rashford is happy. He says it is a good decision.
