Case Dominique is a school in the Republic of the Congo.

It helps 350 children with autism.

It's changing people's ideas about autism too.

Autism's different for each person.

Some people have problems speaking.

Some people get upset in new situations.

Some people with autism need help at school.

And some don't need any help to learn.

At Case Dominique school, the students wear uniforms.

All the students go to the same classes.

They study together.

They can make friends.

This is healthy for them.

Edith's an autistic student.

She had problems at her old school.

Now, she's doing well at Case Dominique.

Her mother's happy.

In the Republic of the Congo, many people say bad things about autism.

But Case Dominique's changing that.

The school's teaching people about autism.

Autistic children still have problems in society.

Sometimes, taxis don't want to carry them.

But at Case Dominique, they're welcomed.

It's a safe space for them.
