They are unhappy with the army.

The army took control of Myanmar on 1st February.

Soldiers took away politicians.

One of them was Aung San Suu Kyi.

Suu Kyi is very important in Myanmar.

She was a leader in the government.

But now the army is making Suu Kyi stay at home.

People are angry about this.

Thousands of people went to the streets.

They want Suu Kyi to be free.

And they don't want the army to control Myanmar.

Many people made this sign with their hands.

They put three fingers up.

This sign is from the film 'The Hunger Games'.

In the film, people fight against a bad government.

Now, people in South East Asia use this sign.

It shows how they feel about the army.

The army says it is doing the right thing.

There was an election in Myanmar in November.

The army says the election was not fair.

But other countries disagree.

They say the Myanmar army is wrong.

They think the army shouldn't control Myanmar.
