Spain was also given a penalty kick during the second half of the match.
But the goal was saved by English goalkeeper Mary Earps.
When the whistle blew, Spanish fans cheered.
But for the English fans, there was disappointment.
The competition took place in Australia and New Zealand, and lasted for a month.
This was the biggest support that women's football had ever received.
But women players are demanding better pay.
They want to be paid equally to male footballers.
Fifty years ago, women weren't allowed to play the sport in the UK.
Today this is still the situation in many countries.
