St Vincent is an island.

It is in the Caribbean.

In April, there was a big problem in St Vincent.

A volcano erupted.

Fire came out of the volcano.

No one died.

But 20,000 people need to leave their homes.

Shelena Artman wants to help St Vincent.

She lives in Bristol, England.

But her family comes from St Vincent.

St Vincent is important to her.

Shelena is sad about the situation.

St Vincent is usually beautiful and green.

Now it is grey.

Grey ash from the volcano is everywhere.

Shelena is getting money for St Vincent.

The money can help people in St Vincent.

Lots of people on St Vincent need help.

4000 people are living in simple shelters.

There is no water.

They need beds and other things too.

Shelena is helping in other ways too.

She helps at special centres in Bristol.

People can take things there.

Then the things go to St Vincent.

It may continue for months.
