Unusual tennis player - 8th February 2021

Francesca Jones is a tennis player. This year, she is going to play in the Australian Open. The Australian Open is a big tennis competition.

Jones is an unusual tennis player. There is something different about her body. She only has 3 fingers on her hands. And she only has 3 toes on her right foot.

In the past, Jones had a lot of problems. She had to go to hospital a lot. A doctor said she couldn't play tennis.

But at 9 years old, Jones went to a famous tennis school. Now, tennis is her job.

Jones's success can help other people. People with difficulties can see her playing tennis. They see her win competitions. She shows it is possible. They can win too.

The Australian Open starts on 8th February.
